Des Roberts B+E Driver Training offers excellent instruction courses on how to tow a trailer, caravan or horsebox. All training is tailored to your trailer training needs. The owner, Des Roberts, has many years HGV driving and instruction experience and has an excellent first time test pass rate. Our aim is to ensure by the end of your course you have sufficient knowledge and practice of towing a caravan, trailer or horsebox in order for you to pass first time. Your success is our success.
If you passed your driving test after 1 January 1997, you are not eligible to tow trailers above a gross mass weight of 750KG (Maximum authorised mass). Towing trailers above this limit requires a B+E category licence. If you are unsure then give us a call. If you are towing illegally, then you could incur points on your driving licence and also receive a large fine.
We offer a range of courses to suit the individual’s needs but the most popular is a 2 day course with the test on the second day. So within 2 days you could have your trailer licence.
Trailer training is available for private individuals or companies and we can be flexible working around your other commitments.
